Wolfgang Harder appointed Regional Head for British Columbia of UBS Wealth

TORONTO , Oct. 22 /CNW/ - UBS Wealth Management today announced the appointment of Wolfgang Harder as Head of the British Columbia region. His appointment is effective November 1, 2009

Wolfgang has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, with more than half of that time spent in Vancouver . He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and a Certified Financial Planner.

Most recently, Wolfgang was a Senior Private Wealth Adviser and founding member of the UBS KeyClient Group in Canada . The KeyClient group serves the Ultra High Net Worth in Canada (more than $30 Million in investable assets). By discussing and analyzing each client's investment objectives and risk tolerance, he is involved in preparing wealth plans and identifies appropriate investment strategies and investment products. Before he was asked to join the KeyClient group in 2006, Wolfgang served a wide range of Canadian clients with sophisticated investment management needs in multiple currencies and asset classes.

Prior to joining UBS 15 years ago, Wolfgang held management positions at Credit Suisse, and Chemical Bank as well as the Vancouver Stock Exchange.
