"In Canadian capital markets there are substantial gaps in the level of female representation in senior management roles. This award is designed to help high-calibre experienced female professionals develop key skills that will help them move up the ladder. This year's winners are wonderful examples of talented, experienced professional women who have a proven ability to take on leadership roles and tackle business challenges," said Jennifer Reynolds, CEO of Women in Capital Markets. "I congratulate today's winners and I look forward to watching them advance their successful careers into more senior roles."
With the support of corporate sponsor CIBC, this unique program provides an opportunity for experienced female professionals with a minimum of 10 years work experience in capital markets to develop executive skills and enhance their likelihood for promotion. Since its inception in 2008, the award has recognized 37 female leaders in capital markets.
