Work on Nuns' Island: The End of An Important Phase - Opening of Ramp 3
Enabling Access to Highway 15 North

LONGUEUIL, QC, Dec. 3 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) and the borough of Verdun are pleased to announce the opening of Ramp 3 enabling access to Highway 15 North from the Northern Point of Nuns' Island in the night of December 4 to 5.

This direct access to Highway 15 North will greatly facilitate traffic on the Northern Point of Nuns' Island. This is the end of an important phase and we are very pleased with the work that has been accomplished.

Starting next spring, the improvement work on the entrances and exits of Nuns' Island will resume, and this, until the end of 2010. The entire sector of Nuns' Island will benefit from this great project which will improve traffic entering and exiting the island.
