World's Largest Business Mentoring Event Set to Achieve World Record at Canada's Leading Innovation Showcase
Discovery 12 the country's best trade show and conference hosts the brightest talent, entrepreneurs and cutting-edge tech innovations, opens today
TORONTO, May 14, 2012 /CNW/ - With two consecutive Canada's Best Trade Show wins preceding it, Discovery 12 is ready to make it three in a row, bringing in a wish list of mentors—including Sir Terry Matthews, Bill Tatham, Albert Lai, David Teten, Rick Segal and Doug Cooper— and attempting to set a Guinness World Record with the World's Largest Business Mentoring Event Monday, May 14, 4:00-6:30 p.m.
Named Canada's best trade show for two years in a row, Discovery 12, hosted by Ontario Centres of Excellence, brings together entrepreneurs, industry, investors, academia and government all under one roof. Spanning two days, (May 14th and 15th, 2012) the conference and show floor will be brimming with the latest in innovation featuring hundreds of exhibitors from various sectors including, digital media and interactive communications technologies, advanced health, manufacturing and cleantech.
For the very first time, as part of the Discovery Conference and Showcase, the World's Largest Business Mentoring event will be the first to set the "Most People Attending a Business Speed Networking Event - Single Venue" record. Canada's queen of networking, Donna Messer, author, speaker and trainer for ConnectUs Communications Canada will facilitate the event which will run in a speed-networking format.
