World's top flair bartenders will dazzle at CRFA Show in Toronto
TORONTO, Feb. 13, 2013 /CNW/ - Seven of the world's top 10-ranked flair bartenders will dazzle hospitality professionals in Toronto at the annual Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices Association Show March 3-5.
This is a rare chance to see top contenders from Europe, South America, the United States and Asia show off on Canadian soil. They'll compete in the first Canadian stop of the Flair Bartender's Association world championship circuit on Tuesday March 5, and vie for $5,000 cash.
Flair bartending is an exciting way to entertain guests by combining mixology with showmanship. Flair bartenders juggle, flip bottles and shakers, ignite liquor and perform magic tricks, leaving audiences amazed.
Bartenders coming to the CRFA Show include #1-ranked Danilo Oribe from Uruguay, #3 ranked Rodrigo Delpech from Argentina, and the top ranked woman - and #8 overall in the world - Sabine Posch from Austria. Delpech is a 16 time world champion and is known as "The man with the Golden Hands," while Oribe is "The Man That Doesn't Drop," and has earned more than 50 first place finishes.
Canada's top bartenders, along with Toronto-based students from Flair Studios Canada will also show off their skill in separate competitions throughout the show.
On all three show days, professional mixologists will be on hand to teach 12,000 restaurant and bar owners attending the CRFA Show the skills they need to make cocktails with style at their own establishments.
