Over a dozen associates paint a mural and refresh a local Ontario Early Years Centre
TORONTO, Dec. 17, 2013 /CNW/ - On December 16th, over a dozen Wrigley Canada associates pitched in and helped paint the walls of the Ontario Early Years Centre on Overlea boulevard in the Thorncliffe community. To add some joy to the highly used children's space, the team also painted a child friendly mural, designed by one of Wrigley's associates. Just in time for the holidays, the community space - which had not been painted in over 16 years - benefitted from a much-needed sprucing.
Wrigley Canada is a longstanding supporter of the United Way, which has helped foster the creation of a meaningful relationship with the Thorncliffe community. Over the years, Wrigley has actively supported many initiatives including funding a local summer camp, which has welcomed nearly 900 students over the last four years.
