TORONTO, Nov. 27, 2015 /CNW/ - Five outstanding companies have been recognized by WWF-Canada's Living Planet @ Work program for their efforts in spearheading innovative employee engagement and sustainability initiatives in the workplace.
"WWF-Canada is pleased to recognize the exceptional work these conservation champions have done to bring sustainability to life in their workplaces," said David Miller, President and CEO, WWF-Canada. "They inspire others in their own companies, and beyond, and deserve our appreciation."
For WWF's Living Planet @ Work (LP@W) program, 2015 was a year of celebration, innovation, and excitement. Across the country, LP@W champions found ways to engage, and empower their colleagues to take environmental action and raise funds for WWF.
On November 26 at our Annual Public Meeting, WWF-Canada was proud to recognize some of our top champions – the cream of the crop – who have gone the extra mile to create positive change in their companies, while supporting the important conservation work of WWF.
