Wyse will deliver turnkey submetering solutions to The Quad at York – a new, pre-eminent and purpose-built student housing community on the York University Keele Campus in Toronto. Wyse's expertise in submetering and energy management will drive long-term financial savings and efficiency gains.
Envisioned as a major architectural statement, The Quad at York will include 812 beds in two six-storey buildings. The modern, suite-style units will enrich student life with innovative features and amenities, all housed in an environmentally sustainable foundation. York University's social fabric will benefit from the outdoor courtyards, generous sidewalks and tree-lined greenway. Mixed use will also include over 20,000 ft2 of retail space within walking distance to the core of the campus.
The partnership with Wyse reinforces the commitment to sustainability shared by FCS Development Corporation and York University. Wyse will manage the electricity submetering lifecycle for The Quad at York, from hardware and installation, to reporting, billing and ongoing customer service. The full integration of Wyse's sophisticated billing platform with property management software will allow for automatic sharing of frequent move-in and move-out data. Students will have access to exceptional customer service, including an easy-to-use web portal, detailed electricity bills and a call centre that operates in 26 languages, 14 hours a day.
