X-Terra Resources appoints Gerry Feldman to its Board of Directors

ROUYN-NORANDA, QC, May 15, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - X-Terra Resources Corporation (TSXV: XT) announces that Gerry Feldman has joined its Board of Directors to replace Richard Patricio who has resigned effective today to focus on other corporate responsibilities. Mr. Feldman was also appointed to the Audit Committee of X-Terra.

The Board of Directors of X-Terra would like to thank Mr. Patricio for his valuable contributions in serving as a director of X-Terra, and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

Gerry Feldman is a Chartered Accountant and currently Vice President, Corporate Development and Chief Financial Officer of Pinetree Capital Ltd. (TSX: PNP). Mr. Feldman has 30 years of merger and acquisition activities, corporate finance and financial experience. Prior to joining Pinetree, Mr. Feldman was a senior Partner in a number of accounting firms where he provided services to clients, specializing in audits and corporate finance activities for public companies, and brokerage and mutual fund dealers. In addition to his accounting and finance experience, he holds senior officer and director positions in several mining companies that are listed on both the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchanges.

The appointment of Mr. Feldman as a director of X-Terra is subject to regulatory approval, including that of the TSX Venture Exchange.
