Xerox executives first Canadians to make magazine's prestigious list
TORONTO, July 19 /CNW/ - Xerox Canada has reason for a double celebration this month: two of its top executives have been named to Diversity MBA Magazine's "Top 100 Under 50 Diverse Executive and Emerging Leaders" list. Emechete (Eme) Onuoha, vice president, Sustainability and External Affairs, and Margaret Zanel, vice president, Marketing were the only two Canadians named to the 2010 list, and the first Canadians ever included in the magazine's Top 100 Under 50.
As part of the award, both Onuoha and Zanel will be featured in the summer 2010 issue of the magazine, and honoured at the awards gala held in Chicago this September.
The list recognizes exceptional executives under the age of 50 who consistently seek and/or have achieved success within a highly competitive corporate environment. Award recipients were selected based on several attributes, including: position within a publicly or privately held company, size of budget managed, scope of responsibility, participation in community service activities, and attainment of an MBA degree and/or post graduate degree.
Eme Onuoha joined Xerox Canada in 2007. In his role of vice president of Sustainability and External Affairs he is responsible for coordinating and advancing all aspects of Xerox Canada's environmental sustainability agenda, corporate philanthropy initiatives, public policy engagement and related stakeholder relations.
Margaret Zanel joined Xerox Canada in 2008. As vice president of Marketing, she is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing strategies for Xerox in Canada, including overall integrated business results, sales coverage, compensation, product pricing and programs, events, and customer incentive and engagement programs.
