Xerox Canada named 'Vendor of Choice' by STAPLES Canada
TORONTO, May 20 /CNW/ - Xerox Canada today announced that it was named the 2009 STAPLES Canada Copy & Print Centre Services Vendor of the Year. The annual award is given to the vendor that provides STAPLES with an exceptional level of service and facilitates measurable business growth for the company throughout the year.
Xerox partnered with STAPLES in 1991 to provide copy and printing services for consumers and business customers. The Copy & Print Centres operate as full service print shops in more than 310 STAPLES locations throughout Canada.
"To deliver advanced printing solutions requires exceptional vendor-partner relationships," said Pete Gibel, Vice President of Merchandising, STAPLES Canada. "Xerox's brand and reputation are second to none within the industry - from their extensive product and document management portfolio, to an incomparable history of understanding customer need and output requirements. They were an obvious selection for our 2009 Vendor of Choice - not only for the work they've done this year - but for the value they've brought to our business since the partnership began."
Xerox won the award based on three key performance factors: - Improved uptime of the STAPLES equipment fleet - Exceptional training and support for STAPLES Copy & Print associates - Effective management of new equipment roll out, resulting in minimal disruption for STAPLES staff and customers
"This award solidifies the alignment of Xerox's world-class product and document management knowledge with STAPLES sales, service and support capabilities across the country," said Tom Oldfield, vice president, Graphic Communications, Xerox Canada. "As we develop strategic relationships to augment current sales channels, this award positions us as a significant collaborator in STAPLES' offering to the Canadian marketplace."
