Yonge Street at College Street closed until work to repair road completed
TORONTO, Nov. 22, 2015 /CNW/ - Yonge Street, from College/Carlton Streets to Alexander Street, will be closed until further notice to allow crews to make road repairs.
At this point, it is not known how long it will take to make the repairs and reopen the road. Access to nearby streets will be available to local traffic only.
The road was closed Friday, November 20 at 5 p.m. when the road damage was discovered.
Crews from the city's Transportation Services Division as well as Toronto Water and Toronto Hydro have been working at the site throughout the weekend.
