Your Empties Please! Another first for arrive alive DRIVE SOBER®
TORONTO, Dec. 1 /CNW/ - This holiday season, arrive alive DRIVE SOBER® will promote "party smart" strategies along with a first ever video PSA inviting donations at The Beer Store. Founded as Ontario Community Council on Impaired Driving, arrive alive DRIVE SOBER® is a charity operating for 22+ years. They do not tele-market and do not use professional fundraisers; factors that make the December fundraiser a most welcome opportunity.
Earlier this year, the 22nd arrive alive DRIVE SOBER® campaign kicked off with some "firsts" including the Arrive Alive Smart Phone App and accompanying PSAs; refreshed Choose Your Ride artwork with support from CAA SCO and Ornge Transportation; and a PSA with Spenny (Kenny vs. Spenny).
"We're often thought of as being part of the government because of our original name", explains Executive Director Anne Leonard, "in fact we are a completely separate charity that relies on a mix of financial support from government, businesses, sponsorships, and customers of The Beer Store". The arrive alive DRIVE SOBER® campaign is organized with a volunteer Marketing Committee and is only possible because of donated support for the creation and execution of our campaign components.
30,000 home hosting kits are being shared through the holidays across Ontario to promote party smart tips and encourage donations at The Beer Store. Public can request free (unassembled) home hosting kits for their workplaces.
