A new video released by the Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa (YSB) depicts the frightening reality experienced by homeless youth.
OTTAWA, Dec. 17, 2015 /CNW/ - As the cold winter months roll in, it is critical to call attention to the hundreds of youth who will find themselves on the streets this winter. "Young people are often forced out of their home due to family conflict," said Joanne Lowe, Executive Director of YSB. "Even in a rich city like Ottawa, there are about 1000 young people who do not have a safe place to call home."
YSB offers services for at-risk youth from all corners of the city. YSB provides homeless young people with a safe place to sleep, warm meals, and life-changing services and resources that help them rebuild their lives. YSB's programs and services change and save young lives.
