YTV Hosts Exclusive ONE 2 ONE Special With Shawn Mendes

TORONTO, April 10, 2015 /CNW/ - This month, Corus Entertainment presents an exclusive One 2 One special on YTV with multi-platinum teen singer-songwriter, Shawn Mendes.

A special half-hour version will premiere on Tuesday, April 14 at 8 p.m. ET/PT (with repeats on Friday, April 17 at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT and 10 p.m. ET/PT). An extended one-hour version with even more behind-the-scenes footage will premiere Saturday, April 18 at 7 p.m. ET/PT (repeats on Sunday, April 19 at 12:30 p.m. ET/PT and 9 p.m. ET/PT)

In front of a live studio audience, YTV's Carlos Bustamante (The Zone, The Next Star Season 6) sits down with the Canadian-born Mendes to reflect on the journey from Vine icon to international music sensation. Mendes then performs his hit singles "Life of the Party," "Something Big" and his latest single "Stitches" from his debut album Handwritten.

The performance falls in line with Corus' past top-rated One 2 One specials that have featured major musical guests including One Direction, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Victoria Justice, Shania Twain and Lady Antebellum, and have aired across kids and family specialty networks YTV, ABC Spark and CMT. Stay tuned for future One 2 One specials that will continue to offer exciting performances from the music industry's biggest break-out stars exclusively on Corus networks.
