Yukon to comment on Supreme Court of Canada's decision
WHITEHORSE, Nov. 18 /CNW/ - On Friday, November 19 the Supreme Court of Canada will issue its judgment on the Little Salmon/Carmacks First Nation v. Yukon case, locally referred to as the Paulsen case. This judgment will be available on the Supreme Court of Canada's website at: http://scc.lexum.umontreal.ca/en/.
The Government of Yukon invites media to participate in a technical briefing about this court case. The assistant deputy ministers of Legal Services, Department of Justice, and the Land Claims and Implementation Secretariat, Executive Council Office, will provide an overview of the events leading up to the appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada and comment on the decision.
