Zaruma Resources Outstanding Stock Options

TORONTO , Jan. 13 /CNW/ - Zaruma Resources Inc., (TSXV-ZMR.H), (the "Company") today reported that in accordance with the Company's Stock Option Plan, 535,000 employee stock options were cancelled effective December 31, 2009 . These outstanding options terminated 90 days after the termination of these staff members employed in Mexico .

The number of stock options outstanding at December 31, 2009 was thereby reduced to 7,915,000. The number of Common shares currently outstanding is 117,608,747.
