EDMONTON, March 6, 2012 /CNW/ - In January 2012, the Board of Directors of ZCL Composites Inc. announced the pending retirement of current President & CEO, Rod Graham. Mr. Graham has achieved many of the goals and objectives set by himself and the Board and, weighing in family considerations, had recommended to the Board that it was time to begin a transition to a new, permanent CEO.
The Board commenced an extensive search process in January 2012 and is pleased to announce that Ron Bachmeier, current Chief Operating Officer of ZCL, will be assuming the role of President and CEO effective August 8, 2012.
Mr. Bachmeier has been within ZCL and Xerxes since 1986 and has extensive experience in the underground fluid containment industry. In February 2008, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of ZCL and prior to that appointment he was the Chief Operating Officer of the Company's USA based operations from February 2007. Prior to the acquisition of Xerxes Corporation by ZCL, Mr. Bachmeier was its Chief Financial Officer from 1986 to 2007. Mr. Bachmeier is also a Certified Public Accountant (Minnesota).
On behalf of the Board, I salute Rod Graham for the enormous personal commitment he has made to turn ZCL around and congratulate Ron Bachmeier on his new role.
James S. Edwards
Chairman of the Board
ZCL Composites Inc.
