ZEISS Metrology Service Center Grand Opening in Charlotte
MAPLE GROVE, Minn., May 3, 2017 /CNW/ -- ZEISS Industrial Metrology is bringing measuring service and programming expertise, along with product demonstrations, to the Charlotte, North Carolina area with the grand opening of its new service center on June 6. ZEISS will be showing off the latest measurement technologies including X-ray and optical, offering educational sessions, and providing time for product demonstrations and networking.
Attendees can register for up to three different metrology sessions, each offered in the morning and afternoon. Mark Foster, President of Applied Geometrics Inc., will offer geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) courses and Roger Wende, North America Manager from Volume Graphics Inc. will present on VGStudio MAX 3.0. In addition, Ryan Stauffer, Charlotte Metrology Services Site Manager, will cover GD&T graphics. Lunch will be offered throughout the afternoon, along with service order discounts and the opportunity to register for a chance to win a pair of ZEISS TERRA binoculars.
The latest coordinate measuring machines, from the versatile CONTURA to the PRISMO ultra for high-speed scanning and maximum accuracy, are available for almost any requirement. The dedicated METROTOM 1500 X-ray-based computed tomography system is perfect for 3D metrology of complex, low-density parts made of plastic, composite materials or ceramic. For optical measurements, the O-INSPECT system features both optical and contact scanning for reliable 3D accuracy. There are also the latest surface, form and geometry systems to complete the measuring and demonstration capabilities.
