"We are pleased to be hosting over 10,000 people and 350 exhibitors for this major event, which will generate more than $1.5 million for the Montréal and Québec economy, namely thanks to the nearly 3,000 room nights booked in hotels across the city," indicated Raymond Larivée, President and CEO of the Palais des congrès de Montréal.
North America's largest multi-sector environmental gathering, each year Americana draws thousands of professionals and experts from 50 countries for 200 hours of speaker presentations and a big trade show. Americana is marking its 20th anniversary with an Innovation Corner, plus renowned speakers such as ministers Christine St-Pierre and David Heurtel, and adventurer Frédéric Dion.
Since it opened in 1983, the Palais des congrès de Montréal has hosted over 6,200 events and visitors who have booked 4.7 million room nights in hotels across the city.
