Subscribers get access to all the action, including live play-by-play of every NHL game
TORONTO, Oct. 2, 2018 /CNW/ - SiriusXM Canada, the country's leading audio entertainment company and the Official Satellite Radio Partner of the NHL®, today announced full coverage of the 2018-19 NHL® season, right through the Stanley Cup® Final. Starting Wednesday, October 3, SiriusXM NHL Network Radio™ (ch. 91) will offer subscribers across North America the best hockey talk, analysis and live-play-play available on broadcast.
The NHL heads into its 101st birthday on October 3 with four games scheduled including the Montreal Canadiens facing the Toronto Maple Leafs at Scotiabank Arena and the Vancouver Canucks hosting the Calgary Flames at Rogers Arena. All NHL games throughout the season will air nationwide on SiriusXM radios, and are also available on the SiriusXM app and at SiriusXM.ca for authenticated subscribers with the SiriusXM All Access package.
SiriusXM offers play-by-play channels dedicated to the official radio broadcasts of every NHL team, giving its subscribers access to both the home and visiting team broadcasts for every game. French-language broadcasts for all Montreal Canadians and Ottawa Senators games will be available via Influence Franco (ch. 174).
In its 14th season, SiriusXM NHL Network Radio™ will welcome new voices to its roster, plus listener favourites including: Gord Stellick, Rob Simpson, Scott Laughlin, Steve Kouleas, Boomer Gordon, Mick Kern, Peter Berce, Rob Higgins, Michelle Sturino, Nick Alberga, and Dave McCarthy, plus NHL Alumnus Mike Johnson and Matthew Barnaby. Expert insiders Jeff Marek, Pierre McGuire, Bob McKenzie and Mike Rupp also return weekly for another season.
