A 2012 with great taste and less ominousness
WATERLOO, ON, Feb. 6, 2012 /CNW/ - Brick Brewing Co. Limited (TSX: BRB) introduced Seagram 2012 today, the most refreshing way possible to celebrate this much anticipated year. Seagram 2012 is a four spirit, pineapple-citrus blend, loosely based on a cocktail called The Four Horsemen. Seagram 2012 is made with pure spring water and natural flavours. It has no preservatives and is available in a series of four distinctively designed, collector 473ml cans at the LCBO in Ontario.
"We absolutely loved making this product. The slightly tart note of the pineapple and citrus is played off against the mellow whiskey and rum notes. And, as many predicted, it has a rather abrupt finish and no aftertaste." praised Russell Tabata, Chief Technical Officer, Brick Brewing Co.
"If you search the word '2012' you'll get over 25 billion hits. This apocalypse thing is going to be absolutely huge. If you thought the hula-hoop was big, just wait until you try Seagram 2012." stated Sean Dennis, Director of Marketing.
"We looked at this 2012 thing from every point of view. And there were two. If something doesn't happen, it'd be nice to have had a little fun with it. If something awful does happen, you'll find me enjoying one or two of these bad boys" said George Croft, President and CEO. "We all get pretty worked up, pretty easily these days and I think it's our job to help people kick back, and take things a little less seriously. So stock up on Seagram 2012, because the end is near-ish".
