A first in Québec - Cadillac Fairview and Signature Group, in collaboration with Jean-Claude Poitras, join forces to create a unique publication Français
MONTREAL, Aug. 8, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - The Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited and Signature Group, with the close involvement of Québec designer Jean-Claude Poitras, are proud to join forces to create an exclusive high-end publication for the benefit of customers of the four Fashion Centres. The inaugural edition of this new shopping reference, titled Signature, will be launched this Friday, August 10 at Fairview Pointe Claire, Carrefour Laval, Galeries d'Anjou and Promenades St-Bruno.
"We are proud to innovate yet again and offer a quality product that enhances and simplifies the shopping experience of the millions of consumers who visit the Fashion Centres each year," said Agnès Ciccarelli, Director of Marketing, Eastern Canada Portfolio, for Cadillac Fairview. "Signature will help guide our customers among trends in fashion, beauty and home décor and will draw their attention to new items and new retailers."
Lavishly illustrated and featuring a broad array of innovative products in sectors as varied as fashion, health & beauty, the art of living and gourmet delights, this fully bilingual colour shopping reference will be published three times a year in 9" by 10.75" format on matte paper that meets current environmental criteria. It will be distributed free in all of the Fashion Centres, with a press run of 100,000 copies per issue. The 100-page inaugural issue of Signature features a cover photo of Consulting Editor Jean-Claude Poitras accompanied by one of his muses. The first 20,000 customers (5,000 per centre) who pick up a copy of Signature will receive a tote bag illustrated with a design exclusive to Signature, signed Poitras.
"I am pleased to contribute my 40 years of experience as a fashion creator and multidisciplinary designer to serving Fashion Centre customers," said designer and Signature Consulting Editor Poitras. "With helpful advice from recognized experts in their field, such as David Vincent, make-up artist at Lise Watier, and Louise Labrecque, stylist and TV host of Secrets de style, readers will be pleasantly surprised by the wealth of content of this superb shopping reference, as well as by its refined and contemporary graphic design."
Jean-Claude Poitras went on to say: "With today's hectic pace of life leaving only limited time for shopping, and as keeping up with the latest trends becomes ever more difficult, Signature is intended to make life easier for Fashion Centre shoppers, while inspiring them at the same time. Our team of contributors will comb through each of the Fashion Centres, keeping an eye out for the most interesting products. In each issue, I will be presenting my finds and personal favourites among the various products featured in the shopping reference."
Showcasing Jean-Claude Poitras's 40-year career
On the occasion of the launch of Signature, the Fashion Centres are delighted to pay tribute to Jean-Claude Poitras's 40 years in the trade with an exhibition showcasing various aspects of his career both in Québec and internationally. The display will be presented at all four Fashion Centres from August 10 to 24.
Jean-Claude Poitras will also take the opportunity to sign the inaugural edition of Signature on the following dates: Saturday, August 11, at Fairview Pointe Claire (from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM) and Carrefour Laval (from 2:30 to 5 PM), and Sunday, August 12, at Promenades St-Bruno (from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM) and at Galeries d'Anjou (from 2:30 PM to 5 PM).
