MONTREAL, Dec. 3, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - La Coupole restaurant is pleased to announce that it is going through important transitional changes. A new team of experts in food services has taken over the establishment to create a new menu inspired from the French brewery that proudly displays the Aliments du Québec au menu logo. The changes are taking place following the appointment in September of Éric Hamel as General Manager of the La Coupole restaurant.
"Our goal is to make La Coupole not only one of the best restaurants in downtown Montréal, but one of the best restaurants in Québec," explains Pierre Parent, President of the lodging establishment and restaurant La Coupole. "To do this, we gathered professionals from various specialties so their creativity and talents would establish a special aura that will make La Coupole a real tourist destination in itself. The arrival of these renowned professionals will not prevent La Coupole from remaining a quality establishment with reasonable pricing."
To make the restaurant a success, the establishment solicited Anne Desjardins to create a compelling new menu worthy of the finest Québec tables. She has worked with Cédric Désilets, promoted to Chef so he can promote regional products. The new menu will display the Aliments du Québec au menu logo since it endorses the Aliments du Québec and Aliments préparés au Québec.
To harmonize the transition, La Coupole hired Meril Bruno, Meilleur Ouvrier de France as Catering Director. A well-known wine steward who received honors in France and Luxembourg, he gradually transferred to management functions. He will contribute his wine steward skills to promote La Coupole, and will be supported by Chris Natale, who joined the team as maître d'hôtel and mixologist. Mr. Natale enjoys an enviable reputation among Montréal jet-setters. Very creative, he prepares the Signature cocktails at La Coupole.
