Fully integrated and mobile-ready, ADP Workforce Now™ enables HR professionals to focus on attracting and retaining talent while saving time and money
TORONTO, Oct. 9, 2012 /CNW/ - ADP Canada Co., a leading provider of HR, payroll and benefits management solutions, today announced the launch of ADP Workforce Now™, a cloud-based, single-source, fully unified, and mobile-enabled human capital management (HCM) system for mid- and large-sized companies.
For the first time in Canada, clients can access ADP Workforce Now's single platform for the mission-critical information that an organization's managers and employees need - where they need it and when they need it. Its integrated tools and technology easily scale and grow to support an organization's evolving HR, talent management, benefits management, payroll, and time and attendance needs while eliminating redundancies and reducing errors.
"People and productivity, not paperwork, are what matters in today's competitive business environment," said Greg Secord, President, ADP Canada Employer Services division. "As a unified HCM solution, ADP Workforce Now helps companies manage the entire employee lifecycle - from recruitment to retirement - to drive productivity improvements and advance engagement levels throughout the business."
Some of the key business benefits of ADP Workforce Now include:
- Allowing companies to focus on finding, developing and retaining valuable employees instead of focusing on transactional or manual tasks within HR.
- Enabling employees to be more productive through its mobile application that provides employees with easy self-service access to key HR functions such as viewing pay statements, company news, employee directories, and tracking time and attendance
- Improving the bottom line by simplifying and streamlining HR processes, providing real-time insight through in-depth analytics and leveraging social elements in recruiting and performance management
Payroll and HR costs underestimated
A recent study conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and ADP Canada revealed the surprising number of companies that are unaware of the hidden costs of managing payroll and HR. The research showed only 37 per cent of the costs to perform business processes were accounted for by business owners, with the balance (63 per cent) hidden within their organization.[i]
Further to that, the study also found organizations that outsourced payroll, time and attendance, HR data administration, and health and benefits spent on average 27 per cent less than those companies that used an in-house approach.[ii] Organizations that used a single outsourced service provider to integrate payroll and time and attendance spent on average 43 per cent less than using a manual approach or non- integrated approach.[iii]
"With a fully unified HCM system, companies can streamline processes that help lower the total cost of ownership," said Secord. "At the same time ADP Workforce Now provides access and insights into human capital costs, key to improving an organization's financial performance."
