Momentum Increases as Demand for ADP Human Capital Management Solutions Grows
TORONTO, March 14, 2013 /CNW/ - ADP Canada Co., a leading provider of human capital management services, today announced it has reached a new milestone with the signing of its 100th ADP Workforce Now® client, demonstrating strong market demand for cloud-based human capital management (HCM) solutions.
Toronto-based Geosoft Inc. is the 100th company to select ADP Workforce Now in Canada since the product was launched five months ago. Geosoft joins approximately 40,000 other ADP clients across North America who have selected ADP Workforce Now as their all-in-one human resources platform.
"A range of large and mid-sized businesses across all industry sectors are choosing ADP Workforce Now to help manage the entire employee lifecycle - from recruitment to retirement," said Greg Secord, President, ADP Canada Employer Services Division. "The enthusiastic response to our all-in-one approach to human capital management indicates that Canadian businesses are eager to realize the productivity and efficiencies gained from a fully unified solution."
Cloud-based, single-sourced and mobile-enabled, here are some of the key business benefits of ADP Workforce Now:
- Allowing companies to focus on finding, developing and retaining valuable employees instead of focusing on transactional or manual tasks within human resources.
- Enabling employees to be more productive through mobile applications that provide employees with easy self-service access to key human resources functions such as viewing pay statements, company news, employee directories, and tracking time and attendance.
- Improving the bottom line by simplifying and streamlining human resources processes, providing real-time insight through in-depth analytics and leveraging social elements in recruiting and performance management.
"As a global organization we strive to offer our employees a seamless and consistent HR experience, regardless of where in the world they're based," said Angela Finlay, Director, Human Resources, Geosoft Inc. "The combination of ADP Workforce Now's scalability, mobile capabilities and cloud-based platform made the decision to move away from our in-house HR information system easy."
PwC Study: The Hidden Costs of Payroll and HR Administration
A Canadian study by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) found that many organizations can achieve greater efficiencies and cost savings by having a service provider handle payroll and HR administration functions, rather than performing them in-house.
The PwC study revealed that using a service provider to manage the business's payroll function costs just under one-third (30 percent) less than a business that performs those functions in-house. Moreover, those that move to a service provider for multiple functions realize even better savings - up to 43 percent less than in-house processing.
