A three-year mandate for Mr. Paul V. Colling
OTTAWA, March 19, 2014 /CNW/ - The Honourable Lisa Raitt, Minister of Transport, today announced the appointment of Mr. Paul V. Colling to the board of directors of the Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority for a term of three years.
Mr. Colling has over 30 years' experience in law enforcement operations as a Peace Officer in the Niagara Falls region, as well as a strong background in customer service. His career as a Peace Officer began at Manpower and Immigration Canada, where he was first a superintendent at the Rainbow Bridge and later took on roles as an investigator and counsellor. He then spent 13 years as a Case Presenting Officer at Citizenship and Immigration Canada. Mr. Colling further broadened his skills and knowledge of mediation and conflict resolution in his capacity as supervisor, then manager, of enforcement operations at Canada Border Services Agency,
After retiring in 2010, Mr Colling was appointed by the Governor in Council, in 2012, as a member of the Review Tribunal for the region of Hamilton, for the Canada Pension Plan and for Old Age Security Disability Hearings.
