MONTREAL, Nov. 5, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Quebec's leading media group specializing in communication, Infopresse, has undergone an important shift within its management team. In a move to consolidate the company's innovative approach, Arnaud Granata and Clodine Chartrand, both shareholders, have been named President and Editor, and Vice-President and head of operations respectively. Founder Bruno Gautier will stay on the Board of Directors and as shareholder.
Bruno Gautier believes that the new leadership will be able to meet the challenges ahead: "Changes in leadership began well over ten years ago, first with Arnaud, and then with Clodine who joined the team a year ago. With them and with our talented team that runs Infopresse on a daily basis, I'm confident that the company is in good hands. I firmly believe that they can push the company further — that they can make it evolve — all the while holding on to what we have already built."
Arnaud Granata has been working at Infopresse since 2006. He has been Vice-President and Director of Content since 2009. "It's a huge privilege for me to play such an integral role in a business that I believe in! I'm also very aware of the challenges facing us in this ever-evolving media world. In the last few years, we have ramped up the company's development by diversifying platforms and products. If today we have the ability to go further and innovate, it's thanks to the creative talents of so many Quebecers involved in this vibrant industry, and to the solid team we have built over the years. I also believe that the driving force of our media outlet lies in our content — we are going to maintain and develop it in the coming years."
Clodine Chartrand has been Executive Director at Infopresse since 2014. She has extensive experience in the tourism and engineering sectors. "Infopresse is a creative company that has always known how to reinvent itself. From the outside looking in, I always found it really inspiring. But from the inside, it's an empowering experience! Infopresse's strength is in its content and the way it's communicated. Thanks to the numerous partnerships we've built over the years, we're able to offer credible, engaging and trendy platforms to our clients."
The transaction was made possible thanks to the collaboration of Desjardins Capital de risque inc., CCPME II S.E.C. and the Fonds relève Québec S.E.C.
