MONTRÉAL, Dec. 18, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Yves Gougoux, Chairman, Publicis Canada, today announces BCP's integration within Publicis, effective January 1, 2015.
Alain Tadros will lead the newly-integrated Montreal agency as President, and Thomas Lecordier, Executive Vice President, BCP, will perform the same duties at Publicis Montréal. Nicolas Massey and Carl Robichaud will assume the leadership of the creative department as Vice President, co-creative directors.
"Our main goal is to join forces to provide our clients with more leverage," said Yves Gougoux. "It's the natural evolution of two agencies that, for decades, followed paralleled paths in leading the change. BCP's entrepreneurship, born from leadership, creative audacity and deep respect of cultural diversity, is joining forces with Publicis, an agency built from the same strengths and values. Together, Publicis' teams will be anchored in the history of Canadian and Québec advertising, and will provide our clients with better creative power, wealth of resources and visionary business intelligence to ensure added brand value."
"The new Publicis Montréal, merging from complementary strengths of both BCP and Publicis, brings significant man-power to this market by combining the best of strategy, creative, digital, shopper marketing, branding, reputation and production all under one brand," said Alain Tadros, president, Publicis Montréal. "Our primary objective is to provide ever more powerful and relevant support to all of our clients who will benefit from greater access to a larger pool of talent and services at the local, national, and international level. "
"Joining forces under the same roof will benefit the whole Publicis family all across the country," said Duncan Bruce, president, Publicis Canada. "This merger will create a symbiotic and mutually beneficial relationship between BCP and Publicis, nationally, providing our clients with an even richer set of marketing business solutions and value."
