TORONTO, Nov. 5, 2014 /CNW/ - The Standing Committee on Social Policy is expected to meet to consider Bill 10, An Act to enact the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014, to repeal the Day Nurseries Act, to amend the Early Childhood Educators Act, 2007, the Education Act and the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities Act and to make consequential and related amendments to other Acts.
The Committee intends to hold public hearings in Toronto on Monday, November 17 and Tuesday, November 18, 2014.
Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation on Bill 10 should contact the Clerk of the Committee as soon as possible. Presentations will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the Bill may send written submissions to the Clerk of the Committee at the address below by 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2014.
