Bill 11, An Act respecting the continuation and establishment of development funds in order to promote regional economic development in eastern and southwestern Ontario and Bill 8, An Act respecting Ontario One Call Ltd.

TORONTO, March 23, 2012 /CNW/ - The Standing Committee on General Government will meet to consider Bill 11, An Act respecting the continuation and establishment of development funds in order to promote regional economic development in eastern and southwestern Ontario and Bill 8, An Act respecting Ontario One Call Ltd.

The Committee intends to hold public hearings on Bill 11 on Monday, April 2 and Wednesday, April 4; and on Bill 8 on Wednesday, April 18 and Monday, April 23, 2012.

Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation on either Bill 11 or Bill 8 should contact the Clerk of the Committee by 12:00 noon on Thursday, March 29, 2012.

Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on either bill may send written submissions to the Clerk of the Committee at the address below by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 5 (Bill 11) and by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2012 (Bill 8).
