TORONTO, Nov. 25, 2014 /CNW/ - The Standing Committee on Social Policy is expected to meet to consider Bill 21, An Act to safeguard health care integrity by enacting the Voluntary Blood Donations Act, 2014 and by amending certain statutes with respect to the regulation of pharmacies and other matters concerning regulated health professions.
The Committee intends to hold public hearings in Toronto on Monday, December 1 and Tuesday, December 2, 2014.
Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation on Bill 21 should contact the Clerk of the Committee as soon as possible. Presentations will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the Bill may send written submissions to the Clerk of the Committee at the address below by 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2014.
