TORONTO, March 26, 2015 /CNW/ - The Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs will meet to consider Bill 40, An Act to amend the Crop Insurance Act (Ontario), 1996 and to make consequential amendments to other Acts.

The Committee intends to hold public hearings in Toronto on Thursday, April 2, 2015 and in Guelph on Tuesday, April 7, 2015.

Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation on Bill 40 should contact the Clerk of the Committee as soon as possible. Presenters will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the Bill may send written submissions to the Clerk of the Committee at the address below by 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015.
