Bill 55, An Act to amend the Collection Agencies Act, the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 and the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act, 2002 and to make consequential amendments to other Acts

TORONTO, Oct. 10, 2013 /CNW/ - The Standing Committee on the Legislative Assembly will meet to consider Bill 55, An Act to amend the Collection Agencies Act, the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 and the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act, 2002 and to make consequential amendments to other Acts.

The Committee intends to hold public hearings in Toronto on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 and Wednesday, October 30, 2013.

Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation on Bill 55 should contact the Clerk of the Committee.

Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the Bill may send written submissions to the Clerk of the Committee at the address below by 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2013.
