TORONTO, Oct. 9, 2013 /CNW/ - The Standing Committee on General Government will meet to consider Bill 60, An Act to strengthen consumer protection with respect to consumer agreements relating to wireless services accessed from a cellular phone, smart phone or any other similar mobile device.

The Committee intends to hold public hearings in Toronto on Monday, October 21, 2013.

Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation on Bill 60 should contact the Clerk of the Committee by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2013.

Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the Bill may send written submissions to the Clerk of the Committee at the address below by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2013.
