Bill 77, Affirming Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Act, 2015

TORONTO, May 28, 2015 /CNW/ - The Standing Committee on Justice Policy will meet to consider Bill 77, An Act to amend the Health Insurance Act and the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 regarding efforts to change or direct sexual orientation or gender identity.

The Committee intends to hold public hearings in Toronto on Wednesday, June 3, 2015.

Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation on Bill 77 on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 should contact the Clerk of the Committee by 12:00 noon on Monday, June 1, 2015.

Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the Bill may send a written submission to the Clerk of the Committee at the address below by 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2015.
