TORONTO, Nov. 4, 2013 /CNW/ - The Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs will meet to consider Bill 77, An Act to amend the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997 to provide safety requirements related to the presence of unsafe levels of carbon monoxide on premises.

The Committee intends to hold public hearings in Toronto on Thursday, November 7, 2013.

Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation on Bill 77 should contact the Clerk of the Committee by 12:00 noon on Wednesday, November 6, 2013.

Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the Bill may send written submissions to the Clerk of the Committee at the address below by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2013.
