MONTREAL, Sept. 1st, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - As part of its 5th anniversary, Brasseurs du Monde is launching 25˚. With an alcohol content of 25%, this extra strong malt liquor will be the strongest bottled beer in Canada! This unique beer can be enjoyed for the first time at the Bières et Saveurs event taking place in Chambly, QC, from September 2 to 5, and will be available at La Réserve du Picoleur – Le Cellier retailers and also at the brewery starting in September. After Elixir, Mauvaise Influence and Frankenstein, 25˚ is the fourth beer, and by far the strongest in alcohol, to join Brasseurs du Monde's Spirit Line.
Aged for a long time in whiskey barrels and cryoconcentrated, 25˚ delivers alcohol aromas on the nose, followed by a touch of iodine, confirming the presence of peated malt. Slightly syrupy and without carbonation, the smoky and woody tastes unite with flavours of prunes, toffee and tobacco, along with the warmth of alcohol.
