OTTAWA, June 10, 2013 /CNW/ - Canada's Taxpayers' Ombudsman, Mr. J. Paul Dubé, launches his Office's Twitter account, expanding his reach to stakeholders.
"Twitter provides a new and exciting way for my Office to connect with stakeholders, and for Canadians to stay informed about their rights as taxpayers," said Mr. Dube. "My Office is always looking to increase awareness of the services we provide. Twitter offers yet another opportunity to reach audiences not accessible through traditional media."
Those following the Office of the Taxpayers' Ombudsman's on Twitter at @OTO_Canada will receive news of events as they happen, such as the publication of Special Reports, updated tips for taxpayers, and public announcements. Tweets will also include information to assist taxpayers who feel they are being treated unfairly by the Canada Revenue Agency and wish to lodge a service complaint.
