"Pamela brings great energy and passion to this key leadership position," says Marc Genéréux, Chair, Canadian Cancer Society Board of Directors. "She has a wealth of leadership experience in the healthcare sector, combined with top-notch creative and strategic skills that will help shape the future of Canada's leading national cancer-fighting organization."
"The Canadian Cancer Society has achieved so much in its 75-year history, and it's an honour to join the Society team as we embark on the next chapter," says Fralick. "I'm looking forward to working with the Society's dedicated volunteers and staff to make a meaningful impact in the fight against this disease that affects so many Canadians."
Since 2008, Fralick has been president and CEO of the Canadian Healthcare Association (CHA), which is a federation of provincial and territorial hospitals and health organizations across Canada. She has also been chair of the Quality Worklife Quality Healthcare Collaborative and co-chair of the Canadian Coalition for Public Health in the 21st Century.
