Canadian Corps of Commissionaires and Public Service Alliance of Canada reach a collective agreement Français
Minister Leitch congratulates both parties
OTTAWA, March 2, 2015 /CNW/ - Today, the Honourable Dr. K. Kellie Leitch, Minister of Labour and Minister of Status of Women, congratulated the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires and the Public Service Alliance of Canada, representing employees at Halifax Stanfield International Airport, on renewing their collective agreement.
The agreement was reached with assistance from the Labour Program's Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS). The FMCS provides dispute resolution and dispute prevention assistance to trade unions and employers under the jurisdiction of the Canada Labour Code.

- The Canadian Corps of Commissionaires provides security services for federal and provincial facilities, utilities and commercial buildings.
- The collective agreement covering 193 employees expired on December 31, 2014.
