QUÉBEC CITY, Jan. 6, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Cominar Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX: CUF.UN) ("Cominar") announced today that the Bureau de décision et de révision en valeurs mobilières will hold a hearing on January 19, 2012 at which Cominar will seek to have the unitholder rights plans of Canmarc Real Estate Investment Trust ("Canmarc") cease traded. Cominar intends to extend its offer to purchase all trust units of Canmarc to a date to be determined in order to accommodate the hearing.
