TORONTO, Sept. 18, 2018 /CNW/ -- comScore (NASDAQ: SCOR), a trusted partner for planning, transacting and evaluating media across platforms, today announced leadership changes to its Canada team.
After 18 years in the digital measurement business, Brent Bernie, general manager of comScore Canada, will be moving on from the company effective January 1, 2019.
"Brent has made significant contributions to comScore and to the industry," said Will Hodgman, EVP of international markets at comScore. "During his time at comScore, Brent built the Canadian business from scratch, transforming it into the authority of digital measurement that it is today. In addition, Brent's contribution to the industry at large – with his work at the Interactive Advertising Bureau of Canada (IAB) and the National Advertising Benevolent Society (NABS) – is inspiring and a true testament to his values."
Assuming the general manager role is Bryan Segal, currently vice president of sales at comScore. Bryan has a long history at the company, starting as a research analyst and account manager in 2000 and growing into the role of vice president of sales in 2004. While Segal briefly left the company in 2014, he returned as vice president of sales in 2017. Segal and Bernie worked closely together for many years to help establish comScore as the standard in digital measurement in Canada.
"I am very excited to help lead comScore Canada as general manager at such a pivotal moment for the media industry," said Segal. "I have a deep understanding of comScore and its role in the advertising ecosystem holistically and within Canada, and look forward to leveraging this experience to continue to build on our three key pillars - product innovation, velocity and customer-centricity - as we deliver on our mission to be a trusted currency for media buyers and sellers."
"I've worked with Bryan since he arrived at comScore. He is constantly thinking about how we can better help our customers and partners make more strategic business decisions using comScore's deep digital insights," said Brent Bernie.
