MONTREAL, Nov. 28, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - As Portfolio Manager of the Heward Investment Management Inc. (Heward) Canadian Dividend Growth Fund (the Fund), Renato Anzovino, CFA, is well positioned to comment on issues related to dividend growth in Canada.
The current investment climate is characterized by factors that contribute to general uncertainty, including: fluctuations in interest rates, currency volatility and an uncertain outlook on energy prices.
As evidenced by successful dividend growth investment strategies, the following indicators may identify opportunities in the Canadian market that offer higher returns and reduced risk:

The Fund outperformed its benchmark by more than 3%, with growth of 14.69% for the year ending October 31, 2017 – compared to 11.48% growth for the S&P/TSX, for the same period.
