TORONTO, Nov. 7, 2015 /CNW/ - There are a bevy of new millionaires in Ontario this morning! While last night's $60 million LOTTO MAX jackpot was split by two tickets sold in Western Canada and Atlantic Canada, there were lots of prize winning tickets sold in Ontario including eight winning MAXMILLIONS prizes.
- Eight MAXMILLIONS tickets were sold in:
- Brampton, worth $1 million
- Kitchener, worth $1 million
- Markham, worth $1 million
- Toronto, worth $1 million
- Woodstock, worth $1 million
- Brampton, worth $500,000 (shared with a ticket sold in another province)
- Woodstock, worth $500,000 (shared with a ticket sold in another province)
- Cornwall, worth $333,333 (shared with two tickets sold in other provinces)
- Three ENCORE tickets, worth $100,000 each, were sold in:
- Hamilton
- Mississauga
- Owen Sound area
Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario LOTTO MAX players have won over $2.3 billion in prizes, including 42 jackpot wins and 275 winning MAXMILLIONS tickets from all across the province.
For each $5 play, LOTTO MAX players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to forty-nine. Players must match all seven numbers, in any one set, to win the jackpot and the MAXMILLIONS prizes.
Next week's LOTTO MAX jackpot will be an estimated $23 million. Players can purchase tickets at authorized OLG retailers until 10.30 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2015 for the draw that evening.
