OTTAWA, Oct. 30, 2014 /CNW/ - Department of Finance officials will hold an embargoed teleconference technical briefing in advance of the Prime Minister's announcement, at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2014.
Embargoed Technical Briefing for Media
Information related to the technical briefing will be made available to reporters who have registered in advance and who have explicitly agreed to the terms of an embargo on the material and content.
Media representatives may not release or communicate documents, materials or information, or other records of any nature related to this technical briefing, to anyone in any manner, until they are released from embargo when the Prime Minister makes the announcement.
Materials related to this announcement will be made available to media at 1:45 p.m. All materials will be under embargo until the Prime Minister begins speaking.
The Department of Finance reserves the right to refuse access to anyone and/or their organization breaching the terms of the undertaking to any future Department of Finance embargoed release.
Audio recording of these briefings for the purpose of broadcast is strictly prohibited.
