Promotion returns by popular demand
TORONTO, Sept. 18, 2012 /CNW/ - For the first time, Enterprise-Rent-A-Car, North America's largest rental car brand, has launched an advertising campaign to support its popular weekend special campaign -- offering a special weekend discount rate starting from $9.99 per day. The program, one of Enterprise's best known promotions, runs through May 15, 2013, at participating neighbourhood locations.
Enterprise renters can enjoy weekend rates of $9.99 per day ($13.99 in Quebec) on economy and compact cars when renting Friday through Monday at most Enterprise neighbourhood locations in Canada. The rate includes 100 free kilometres a day. Similar savings are available on larger vehicles, and unlimited mileage packages also are available at most locations. The program, which excludes airport locations, runs from September 7 through May 15, 2013, at participating neighbourhood locations.
"While summer may be coming to an end, Enterprise wants to ensure our customers can make the most of their autumn and winter weekends," said Jim Stoeppler, brand director for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. "Between Enterprise's unique and extensive network of neighbourhood branches and our services that will pick you up at home and take you to your rental car, our customers can rely on comfortable travelling at a great weekend rate."
Beginning mid-October, the advertising campaign supporting the promotion will run nationwide in both official languages, and features Enterprise employees Rachel Sullivan and Caroline Pintal from Canadian branches. The creative for the campaign was developed by Cannonball Advertising and Promotion.
"Our customers often tell us that it's our employees in Canada who have led to Enterprise's continued strength in the car rental industry," said Stoeppler. "They are the reason Enterprise is able to provide such excellent customer service and make our promotions a reality for our customers, so we wanted them to tell you about the promotion directly."
Since opening in Canada in 1993, Enterprise has focused on community transportation needs, renting cars where customers live and work. Today, the Enterprise Rent-A-Car network - with more than 450 locations across Canada - is renowned for offering affordable, accessible and flexible local car rental service in towns and cities of all sizes. Enterprise Rent-A-Car operates not only as a key provider for insurance replacement, weekend getaways and special occasions, but also as a local transportation alternative. For example, many consumers rely on mass transit during the week or simply cannot afford to purchase or maintain a vehicle on their own - so they often depend on local Virtual Car® rental service and take advantage of Enterprise's "everyday low price."
