TORONTO, Aug. 4, 2016 /CNW/ - The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) is pleased to announce that a new collective bargaining agreement has been reached with Unifor, who represent 1050 employees at Toronto Pearson International Airport.
The new three year agreement will be in effect from August 1, 2016 to July 31, 2019.
"The ratification of the new agreement represents stability in the airport authority's workforce for the next three years," said Howard Eng, President and CEO of the GTAA. "We are very pleased to have reached a fair and balanced agreement. Our vision to become the best airport in the world will require all GTAA employees to work together as we deliver financial sustainability, aviation growth, and exceptional passenger service. We will continue to work with Unifor and other airport partners to ensure we can deliver on this goal."
