- Best July sales ever, at 4,454 units; leading to 30,887 sold year to date

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Aug. 1, 2017 /CNW/ - Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) is pleased to announce its best ever July sales with results up 5.8 percent and 4,454 units retailed. With sales of 30,887 year to date Subaru is well positioned to surpass 2016's annual sales record of 50,190 units.
Year to date, sales across Canada are heating up. The Western region increased sales by 11.9 percent and Ontario by 10.3 percent. Quebec saw a bump of 8.5 percent and the Atlantic region boosted their sales by 6.6 percent.
For the month of the July the Impreza, the first vehicle built on Subaru's new Global Platform, saw an impressive sales increase of 48.6 percent over last year. The WRX and WRX/STI, the perennial performance favourites, saw sales increase by 22.0 percent, while the capable Outback topped last July's sales by 3.3 percent. The BRZ also cruised in with a notable increase of 23.2 percent.
