MONTREAL, Nov. 17, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Keolis Canada has embarked on an initiative to improve its overall services and has taken the necessary steps to meet its objective. Today, the company is unveiling its innovation plan, which will mean positive changes for our customers. Our timeline will enable the established clientele we have served for the past 25 years to monitor our initiatives as they are announced and maintain their trust in the company.
"These changes come from a deep desire for innovation and renewal. The transportation sector is undergoing major changes," says Patrick Gilloux, President and COO of Keolis Canada. "Orléans Express must adapt and keep up to speed with digital technology. The aim of the changes is to optimize our operations. We want to ensure that the customer comes out a winner, so the initiatives we introduce will be fully adapted to passengers' lifestyles," adds Marie Hélène Cloutier, Vice president passenger experience, marketing and sales.
Innovations as of January 2016
Multimodal transport agreements, revamped communication tools, optimized regional collaboration and more efficient service are all part of the plan. Among the coming developments will be the launch of an IPhone and Android mobile application that connects directly with updates of the e-commerce platform, simplifying current procedures. The changes, effective January 2016, will also include variable fares in the corridor between Montreal and Quebec City.
"We have a clear game plan and these initiatives are just a taste of how our company will be modernized. All of these improvements are very exciting, and there will be all many developments in the coming months. We are officially entering a period of renewal at Keolis Canada," says Ms. Cloutier.
